Cards are dealt per the normal rules of Blackjack.

After the original deal, players have the option to:

1. Continue playing the Blackjack hand as normal, or
2. Make a one-time switch to five-card stud poker against the dealer, with hands comprised of each player's original 2 cards plus 3 community cards. The switch to poker requires an additional bet equal to the original bet.

Note: In poker mode, the player must have a pair of 8s or better to qualify.
